CREATING CRITICAL AWARENESS AT GRASS-ROOT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Empowerment of the oppressed (poor) people through training in
critical awareness leads them to confidence and ability to liberate themselves from
oppressions and poverty.
KCA as an organization has focused its efforts to create awareness in the communities on socio-economic and environmental growth for sustainable growth.
We promote tree planting and growing to conserve the environment. In the last few years we have managed to increase the forest cover in our community by more than 120,000 trees.
KCA has introduced solar lamps that has greatly improved livelihood of the people living in the community. We believe that environmental sustainability will provide major opportunities to deliver better lives for our people in addition to supporting economic development.
We assist the neighboring communities with a number of activities that are geared towards improving their living standards and solving problems that they face through integrated development initiatives.
